In 2005, we recognized the importance of keeping our Alumni involved with our Club.  WIth the help of some of our former players, we have begun to form our group.  A recap of our desires is as follows:

GOALS

• Create an organization of former FC DELCO players for social, leadership and fund-raising purposes.  By-products of establishing this association will include heightened awareness of our Club and a sense of “community” within FC DELCO.
• Create a database of FC DELCO Alumni via our new registration system to keep Alumni in contact with the Club and with each other
• Keep Alumni informed of happenings within the Club
• Have Alumni involved in club active leadership roles including coaching and Advisory Board Members.

PURPOSE

• Heighten awareness of FC DELCO
• Create sense of “community”  within the Club
• Assist in Fund Raising for the Club for players “in need” and for special capital projects determined by the Board
• Create interest for alumni for future coaching positions, potential Board membership and guidance in operating the Club
• Participate in the operation of the Club for special events (i.e. College Night, Banquet, etc.)

ORGANIZATION

• Distinct organization from FC Delco
• Eventually will be “self-run” with own separate Board and Officers but under the auspices and guidance of the FC DELCO Board
• A new FC DELCO Alumni position will be created on the FC DELCO Board
• When deemed necessary, alumni members should also be placed on the various FC DELCO Committees including the Banquet an Hall of Fame
• A dedicated Alumni webage in the new FC DELCO website
