This year, two groups will be aided once again by FC DELCO parents and players. Linda Tordone, (wife of coach Dave Tordone, U18 Black V) volunteers at the Domestic Violence Center. John Teti, Esq. (husband of Leah Teti, Manager U19 TarHeels) is involved with the Department of Children, Youth and Families.
As an organization, FC DELCO would like to give back to the community in which it is primarily based. We would also like to aid organizations in which our parents are involved. This is the fourth year the banquet has been used as a venue to collect items for those in need. Support from the FC DELCO family has been overwhelming; I ask for your continued generosity.
Both organizations have requested the same items which simplifies things. Due to a lack of storage space, gift cards are requested. Each PLAYER is asked to bring one or more gift cards, in any amount, to any of the following stores:
Wal-Mart Acme
Target SuperFresh
K-Mart Giant
Rite-Aid Genuardis
Parents are not limited in the dollar amount of the card or the number of cards; each is asked to give as their means permits. Just in case anyone is really last minute, there is a WAL-MART on Jacksonville Rd. in Warminster which you pass going to Spring Mill Manor!
