FC Delco is proud to announce that Mike Curry will be our Goalkeeper Trainer and will work with all of our Goalkeepers and teams on regularly scheduled basis throughout the year. We are very excited to have Mike on board and will serve as a tremendous resource for our players and teams.
Mike Curry is one of the most respected Goalkeeper Trainers in the country and FC Delco is fortunate to have such a prominent Trainer on our Staff. Mike, who has been coaching youth soccer since 1974, is the Director and Head Coach of The Goalkeeping Academy. Mike has coached at Club, State ODP and college levels for many years. His playing experience includes "tending the nets" for the U.S. Naval Academy and the University of Baltimore.
Mike is a National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) GK Institute staff coach and a popular clinician for many soccer organizations in the mid-Atlantic region. In addition Mike is the technician and GK Trainer for the prestigious adidas ESP Camp each year. Mike brings a tremendous passion for the game and his positive attitude and enthusiasm is contagious.
