Below is a link to a Team Budget Template that teams can use as a guideling for preparing their annual operating budgets.  There is a blank worksheet to be used for the input of financial data and there is also a completed sample worksheet.

 

Each Team will have a core staff to handle the fundamental operation of the group.  Each team should consist of :

 

Coaching Staff -Selected by FC DELCO Directors of Coaching and Board

 

Team Manager-handles the day to day operation of the Team

 

Treasurer-Creates budget, handles collection of fees and expenses, maintains team account

 

Trip Planner-handles all travel arrangements

 

FC Delco Website Liason-works with FC Delco webmaster in keeping Team Page current

 

Banquet Committee Member-serves on the FC Delco Banquet committee

 

FC Delco Store Liason-works with the FC Delco Store Manager

 

FC Delco College Night Representative (U-16 to U-18 only)-aides in College Night preparations

Team Managers’ Committee

The Team Managers’ Committee should be headed by the FC DELCO Club Administrator and should consist of the Team Managers from each team within the Club.  It will meet periodically during the year and issues discussed should include at minimum: player registration, transfers, special transfers (out of state), financial matters, communications, team operations and other issues as needed.

 

Hall of Fame Committee

The FC DELCO Hall of Fame Committee establishes the criteria and process for entering the Hall of Fame.  In addition, the Committee will also meet once or twice per year to entertain prospective nominees and make final determinations as to who shall be inducted each year.  Due to the specialized interests of this committee and the fact that it is based on past history, the FC DELCO Board should continue to appoint the members of this committee.

 

Banquet Committee

The FC DELCO Banquet Committee handles all facets of the Banquet including site selection, venue set-up, raffles, auctions, speakers, ticket sales and publicity.  Each team (regardless of age) will have at least one person on this committee and actively participate in all functions.

 

Alumni Association

The Alumni Committee will organize as a resource to older players through the processes of getting into college, playing in college and career networking once they graduate.  The committee will also establish an event or series of events that serve as a fundraising support for the club.  Additionally, the committee will create and manage an up to date database of all former players including contact information, employment, etc and be tasked with keeping the group informed of club progress as well as opportunities that exist to help the club.

  

FC DELCO College Night Committee

The FC DELCO College Night Committee takes care all facets of College Night including coach selection, player tryouts, T-shirts, player communication, college coach communications and hospitality, profile book, venue set-up, and other issues as needed.  Each team (age U-16 to U-18) will have at least one person on this committee and actively participate in all functions.
