On Friday afternoon, the Chicago Fire selected Dynamo II player and Univ. of Maryland star Stephen King in the third round of the MLS SuperDraft  which was held in Baltimore as part of the NSCAA Convention.  Stephen, who has been a Hermann Award candidate the past two years, graduated from Maryland in just 3 1/2 years and will now continue his playing career in the Windy City.  Stephen played for the Dynamo from U-15 through U-23 and has played at the Region and National level over his youth career.  All of Stephen’s teammates and coaches are extremely proud of Stephen and his accomplishments and look forward to seeing Stephen make his professional debut soon.  Congrats Stephen !!
