The U-18 Fury Girls faced off against the Dallas Sting squad from Texas in their second round robin game Thursday and were "stung" as the opponents chipped in a quick goal in the opening minutes of play. The Fury and Sting then battled for the next 90 minutes, with FC Delco generating a good amount of pressure throughout with multiple scoring chances, but were unable to find the net.  Defensively, the Fury held held solid through the balance of the game with good work from keepers Caroline Williams and Katie Frey, only yielding the second Sting goal in extra time with their full eleven pulled forward. Next up for the Fury - Illinois Eclipse on Friday morning.
