In Friday’s action, the U-18 Fury dropped a 2-0 decision to Eclipse Select (Illinois) in their final preliminary game.  The U-17 Hammerhead boys needed a win on Friday night to advance to Sunday’s Final.  In front of a huge crowd of over 1,000 mainly Andromeda fans, Kyle Soroka opened up the scoring in the 29th minute with a head ball goal but Andromeda evened the score a few minutes later.  A few minutes into the second stanza, Andromeda struck again to take a 2-1 lead.  Although the Hammerheads had some quality chances, they could not tally the equalizer.  Congrats to both the Fury and Hammerheads for playing great soccer at Nationals !!
