For the 2011-2012 season the ECNL will expand to 66 Clubs from all over the United States. Beginning in 2011-2012 season teams will participate in full conferenced-based (regional) competition. Also, beginning with the 2011-2012 season the ECNL will add the U-14 age group to all competition. Therefore, all conference-based competition will be held in the U14, U15, U16, U17, and U18 age groups.

2011-2012 National Event Competition
In 2011-2012 ECNL National Event Competitions will be held at the U14-U18 age groups, with varying degrees of commitment. Te U15-U18 age groups will feature two flights for ECNL National Event Competitions, with participation based upon results from the 2010-2011 season.
