Bio: | Kirk Johnson was a standout player at Syracuse University and and a great FC DELCO player which lead his induction into the FC DELCO Hall of Fame. In Johnson’s senior year at Syracuse he played in all 17 games, starting 15 times, tied for the team lead in points and assists, scored three goals and three assists for nine points and finished his career as Syracuse University’s sixth all-time leading goal scorer (30). Kirk finished fifth all-time at 0.44 goals per game and moved into seventh on the Syracuse all-time assists ledger (18). One of only seven players in school history to average more than 0.25 assists per game (0.27), Kirk cracked Syracuse University’s all-time top five in points (78); One of five Orange players to average more than 1.0 points per game for their career (1.16). During his senior tenure, Kirk scored goals versus St. Bonaventure, Colgate and #22 Connecticut, had assists against #13 Rutgers, Cornell and Pittsburgh and named BIG EAST Co-Offensive Player of the Week on October 27. Kirk was named to the Syracuse Athletic Director’s Honor Roll and spring in addition to being named a BIG EAST Academic All-Star. |
