CLUB APPOINTS FC DELCO ALUMNUS TO GIRLS ECNL AND BOYS PRE-ACADEMY TEAMS.

CONSHOHOCKEN, PA, - August 28, 2020  The region’s premier soccer club, FC DELCO, is proud to share the appointment of Dwayne Dove to head coach of the Girls ECNL 2007 and the Boys Pre-Academy (USYS) 2007 teams. An FC DELCO alumnus, Coach Dove was a member of the Dynamo III, which won the State Cup, the US Region 1 Championship, and placed third at the US Youth Soccer National Championship in 2007.

“We are excited to add Dwayne Dove to our Girl’s ECNL staff,” says Zac Tassone, Girl’s ECNL Director. “Dwayne is a competitor who cares deeply about his craft, and we are glad to welcome him back to FC DELCO. His vast experiences will undoubtedly contribute to our environment immediately,” adds Tassone.

Prior to joining FC DELCO, Coach Dove was the Technical Director of YTP Sports (Youth to Pro Sports), a professional soccer training company based out of Fort Washington, Pennsylvania. Coach Dove led and oversaw player and coach development, ensuring the curriculum was executed properly at all levels, as well as managed daily operations of the organization. 

From 2015 to 2018, Coach Dove was a Trainer and Scout for The New York Red Bull Training Program, where he empowered players to grow their technical and tactical skills.

Coach Dove played professionally for The Harrisburg Heat and was a member of the New York Red Bulls U23 NPSL undefeated national championship team. He played abroad as part of the PSC Swedish Showcase, and even enjoyed playing time with BK Forward Orebro (Sweden), and HIFK Helsinki (Finland). 

Coach Dove is a graduate of The University of Vermont, where his team was the 2012 American East Season Champions. He holds a USSF ‘C’ License, a USC Director of Coaching Diploma, and USC Advanced National and Premier Diplomas.
